6 St James Hall welcomes new member Luke Chapman

The members of 6 St James' Hall are pleased to welcome new member Luke Chapman.

Luke joined chambers as a reader in 2014 and now has a broad-ranging practice encompassing all areas of commercial litigation. He also has experience appearing in ICAC for the NSW Mine Subsidence Board, defamation trials and white-collar crime matters.

Prior to joining the Bar, Luke was a Senior Litigation Lawyer in the Proceeds of Crime Taskforce of the Australian Federal Police, where he developed a particular expertise in confiscation proceedings, as well as anti-money laundering (AML/CTF) regulation and enforcement.

Luke was previously a Senior Associate at Henry Davis York Lawyers for over 6 years, practising principally in commercial litigation and insolvency.

In 2006, Luke served as Tipstaff to The Hon. Mr. Justice K.R. Handley AO OStJ QC of the New South Wales Court of Appeal.
