The members of 6 St. James' Hall Chambers are pleased to welcome new member David Rayment. David will join chambers from the beginning of the 2016 Law Term.
David Rayment was admitted to the NSW Bar in 2004. He has been a member of Frederick Jordan Chambers for 11 years, including serving on its Board of Directors.
David's practice is focussed on commercial clients and government departments. His major recent cases include acting for the Commonwealth Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development on instructions from the Australian Government Solicitor in the Badgery's Creek tenancy litigation, and appearing for a respondent to the Caason Investments class action.
David is an Honours graduate in Arts (majoring in History) and in Law from the University of Sydney, completing his law degree on exchange with Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and the Sorbonne, Paris. Prior to the Bar David worked as Tipstaff to Justice David Kirby of the Supreme Court of New South Wales Common Law Division.
